Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls Recipe

Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

  • 2 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
  • 3 3/4 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 3 cups Rice Crispies
  • 4 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 cup Shortening
In a large bowl, beat peanut butter and butter until blended.  Slowly beat in the powdered sugar.  Stir in the Rice Krispies.  Shape into 1 inch balls and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.

Melt chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave or in a double boiler on the stove.  Stir until smooth & creamy.  Use a toothpick and dip the peanut butter balls in the chocolate and place on a wax paper lined baking sheet.  Chill until set.
