Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls
- 2 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
- 3 3/4 cups Powdered Sugar
- 3 cups Rice Crispies
- 4 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 cup Shortening
In a large bowl, beat peanut butter and butter until blended. Slowly beat in the powdered sugar. Stir in the Rice Krispies. Shape into 1 inch balls and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
Melt chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave or in a double boiler on the stove. Stir until smooth & creamy. Use a toothpick and dip the peanut butter balls in the chocolate and place on a wax paper lined baking sheet. Chill until set.
