This week's Field Trip Friday is the Nelson-Atkins Museum. We went to the Museum today with our homeschool group and really enjoyed it. I have to admit that I am a Kansas City native and I have never visited the Nelson-Atkins before today. Did you know that they have paintings by artists like Van Gogh and Monet? I did not until today.
There is so much to look at that even little ones would enjoy the museum!
There are classes and activities (group, individual and family) at the Nelson-Atkins. Some (not all) are even FREE! Go here for a complete list including dates, times & cost.
On our trip today we toured the Egyptian art and there is even a real mummy on display.
After our group tour, Connor and I explored some other parts of the museum.
