This is my favorite time of year for grocery shopping. I stocked-up this week!!
- 1st Turkey = 19.68lbs. $13.39 (regular price $27.36)
- 2nd Turkey = 12.97lbs. $8.82 (regular price $18.03)
I also purchased these groceries at Price Chopper.
Total Out of Pocket (including turkeys) = $53.20
Total Out of Pocket at Hen House = $28.05
(savings of $44.02 which is 61%)
This picture is a combination of the groceries I purchased at Sunfresh, Hy-Vee & another trip to Price Chopper. I purchased a 3rd turkey at Sunfresh for $.69/lb. I am going to roast this one and portion out the meat and freeze it for quick dinners this winter.
Total Out of Pocket at all 3 stores = $41.85
I purchased 2 cans of mixed nuts on sale for 2/$5.00 at Walgreens. This is to make Homemade Chex Mix.
Total Out of Pocket = $5.00
We purchased new LED Christmas lights at Lowes. I used a $5/$25 e-mail coupon.
Total Out of Pocket = $36.90
Total Money Spent this Week = $165.00
My pantry & freezer are full!!
