Next week, we will be taking a break from our Sonlight Curriculum and will be doing a unit on Ireland to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. I purchased Amanda Bennett's Download & Go Expedition Ireland (on sale until 3/14/11 for $6.00). It is a one week unit study and includes everything you need so there are no additional purchases. There are book & video recommendations but most of those can be found at the library and are not required.

Field Trip Friday- Local Kansas City Irish Fun:

The Irish Museum & Cultural Center (located at Union Station on the lower level) is open Wednesday-Saturday from 10:00am- 4:00pm & Sunday 12:00pm - 4:00pm. There will be a Family Fun Fare on 3/17/11 from 11:00am - 4:00pm.
