One of our Christmas Eve Traditions is to have a Birthday party for Jesus. This is a great way to help young children understand the true meaning of Christmas. We do not open or exchange gifts on Christmas Eve, we celebrate Jesus' Birthday!

We just started doing this as well. It is a great idea and so far the family loves it. We have a "Happy Birthday" Banner up and under it "Jesus" and "Lord of Lords" in red and green felt. The husbands family has already had Christmas over here with us and we sang Happy Birthday and it was great! My family comes tomorrow for breakfast and I have a breakfast cake to make!
