Sorry that I am late posting Field Trip Friday but it has been a crazy week!
Our field trip this week is
Remington Nature Center in St. Joseph, MO. We went to
Remington Nature Center with a Homeschool group and it was so much fun.
Cost of Admission:
Adults $3.00, Youth (4-12) $1.00, Children 3 & under Free, Senior $2.00
There is a giant fish aquarium and on Fridays you can help feed the fish at 10:30am.
There is a very interesting musuem inside and all ages enjoyed looking at the displays. There is also a Scavenger Hunt available.
For an additional fee ($50 for the group) our group attended a Bird Workshop. The children learned about Missouri birds and made a Milk Jug Bird Feeder.
Remington Nature Center is located on the Missouri River and there is a walking/bike trail along the river. There is also an outdoor Scavenger Hunt available.
