One way that I save a lot of money, time & stress each week is by menu planning. It takes about 15 minutes to an hour to create a menu for the week and it is definitely time well spent. I love the menu board pictured above because you clip the recipes on with clothespins which gives you the flexibility to change meal days. You don't have to use a fancy menu board, a simple piece of paper or calendar works great or you can download a menu planning worksheet here.

Monday: Stephenson's Baked Butter & Cream Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans
Tuesday: Spaghetti & Meatballs, Salad, Focaccia Bread
Wednesday: Dinner at Church
Thursday: Potatoes & Sausage, Spinach Salad
Friday: Tuna Noodle Casserole, Peas, Buttery Pan Rolls
Saturday: Homemade Cheese Pizza, Veggies & Dip
Sunday Lunch: Grilled Cheese Sandwiches on Homemade Buttermilk Cheese Bread, Salad Homemade Panera Tomato Soup
Sunday Dinner: Leftovers
Breakfast Choices for the Week:
- Breakfast in a Muffin, Fruit
- Strawberry Oatmeal Smoothies
- Cereal, Fruit
- Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Links, Orange Juice
