ReplyDeleteAre you kidding? Cherry Mashes are my husband's favorite candy!!!! Once, while in the mountains on vacation, we accidentally left some food on the back porch and the window open in the kitchen(it was summer). A small black bear came through the window in the middle of the night. The dog barking scared it back out the window but not before he picked up my husbands Cherry Mash (and camera...for some reason). My husband complained about that Cherry Mash the entire trip....laughingly of course. I am not kidding....I am really making these. Maybe tomorrow
ReplyDeleteMy Mom is from St. Joesph, MO (Cherry Mash bars are made in St. Joe) and this is her recipe. She says they are as good as the original. I hope your husband likes them!
