Peeps Easter Treats
This is a fun & easy to make Easter treat with no baking required!
You will need:
- Peeps (any color or shape)
- Candy Melts ( I used white but any color will work.)
- Easter or Pastel Sprinkles
- Lollipop Sticks (available at craft stores or online)
- Treat Bags & Ribbon (optional)
Start by melting the candy melts. I like to use my Wilton Chocolate Pro but you can also melt them in the microwave or a double boiler.
Next, open the Peeps and carefully separate them.
Now dip a Peep in the melted candy melts.
Add some Easter sprinkles and then insert the lollipop stick.
Keep the Peeps upright until the candy melt is completely set (about 1-2 hours- depending on weather and/or humidity). You can do this by placing the lollipop sticks in a glass, cake pop stand (available at craft stores) or use a large styrofoam block (like the kind used as packing material).
Once the candy melts are completely set, then place the Peeps Treats in a treat bag and tie with a ribbon. I also attached an invitation to Easter services at our church and we will be giving them to our neighbors.
