Lego Fun Friday: Fort Homeschool

This summer we purcahsed a new school desk for Connor because his old desk was too small and not very functional.  Connor is so excited about his new desk and unfortunately so is Felix, our cat. 

As you can see, Felix the cat has decided that the new desk was meant for him and has made himself quite comfortable at Connor's desk.  Most of the time this is not a problem but when Connor needs to sit at his desk and work this is a big problem!

Connor has tried to share the desk with the cat.  The desk is long so there is plenty of room and the cat is ok with that for a little while but slowly he will start inching his way back across the desk and try to push Connor out.

Then Connor and Felix usually end-up in a swatting match! 

So here is Connor's solution to the problem:

Fort Homeschool

He built a fort wall out of legos complete with lego figure guards and a robotic arm launcher (in case Felix tries to step over the wall) to keep the cat on his side of the desk.

It's working so far!
