Baking Day Update 12/1


I finished making the bagels this afternoon and of course Connor and I had to sample them. My homemade bagels don't look as pretty as the store bought ones but they taste delicious! These bagels freeze nicely and will keep for up to six months in the freezer.



The recipe here says to roll the dough into balls and then poke holes in the center. I have tried this way and I always end up with a big mess! I started rolling them into logs and then connecting them. This is much simpler to do and the result is better.


This is the finished result. They are not beautiful but they are Yummy!
