This month I am having an Eat From the Pantry Challenge. One of the ways that I cut my grocery budget is by making all of the bread for my family from scratch. It is a lot easier than you would think. I always use my bread machine to make the dough and then I prefer to bake it in the oven. There is nothing like hot, fresh, homemade bread from the oven!
Here are a few of our favorite Bread Recipes:
- Pita Pockets
- Bagels
- English Muffins
- Amish Bread
- Fococcia Bread
- Whole Wheat Oatmeal Bread
- Tomato Basil Bread
- Bread Machine Buttery Rolls
- Whole Wheat Sandwich Bread
- Buttery Pan Rolls
- Whole Wheat Hamburger Rolls
- Soft Italian Bread Sticks

I love baking our own breads. Great links. I just tried to make Pita Bread and failed. I am going to have to try again. Also, your buttery rolls look great, I am adding that one to my list!
ReplyDeleteYou are right - there is nothing like the taste OR the smell of homemade bread.
ReplyDeleteSara,
ReplyDeleteDon't give-up on the pita bread. It takes practice. I flopped the first time I made it too!
